Benefits of Online Banking

Online banking has become commonplace and among the most popular ways for consumers to manage their day-to-day finances.  From paying bills and making deposits to transfer funds and viewing transactions, it makes managing finances easier.  Take advantage of all the benefits offered with online banking.

Number One  Convenience: Use Apps to Manage Your Account

One of the reasons accounts are more accessible than ever is financial apps.  You can safely login to your account via phone or tablet.  American Eagle Credit Union offers two apps for members:

MobileAccess+:  Check balances and history, transfer funds, pay bills, make deposits, and receive alerts regarding your account.

MobiMoney:  Prevent fraudulent activity on your debit card by having the ability to activate or deactivate your debit card from your mobile device.  Set limits based on transactions, locations, merchant preferences, and spending restrictions.

Number Two  Functionality: Set Up Deposits and Bill Pay Online

Get the most out of your checking account by setting up direct deposit.  You can set up direct deposit with American Eagle Credit Union online

Use eDeposit for checks:  Use the MobileAccess+ app with your mobile device to deposit checks into any account connected with your login.  Just select your deposit account, the amount, take a picture of the front and back of the endorsed check and submit!

How to set up Bill Pay:  Set up payee identifications through your Online Access by selecting the “Bill Payment” tab, fill out a quick form and allow two business days for your account to be connected.

Number Three  Accessibility:  Transfer Money Between Accounts

Link accounts or set up automatic transfers to your savings account to build emergency savings or for making a “non-essential” purchase in the future.

Have more than one American Eagle account?  You can easily transfer funds from one account to another—which is quicker than using the automated phone service. Once logged into your account, go to the “Transfers” options to transfer funds by following the prompts.

Number Four  Always Safe: Remember Your Account is Secure
